The Gaslight story came to me while watching Young Sherlock Holmse, and I decided to challenge myself with this theme -- which is a play on words. This was a lot harder than I thought it would be. Part of that was because I wanted to use many different light-sources, and to tie-in a bit of an "ah-ha" moment for each of them. Was proud I managed six-words on all but one, though I have to thank Jim for help in getting one of them down.

Been having a terrible block writing-wise. I do not believe a writer's block is a lack of words, but rather a lack of passion and enjoyment in writing. Drama in life can do that -- life can suck the life out of you -- and I have sadly fallen victim to that. It is true that in order to break it, you just have to push through. Thus, my continuation of micro-fiction. Hopefully that will bleed over into my long-form prose soon.
