My Paper Crown

“Because my soul bleeds words which beg to be written.”

I do not view myself as a poet, but I do enjoy writing poetry. Though I've been told I'm not very good at it—and I tend to agree—I find the composition of rhyme and weary quite cathartic, and it has definitely become a balm for my soul. Particularly these past few years as I struggle with loss in every way, shape, and form. I hope you find some amusement in the words, and perhaps a few pieces that are well-written.

This is one of several “chapbooks” that will appear on this site. Hopefully one day I will make formal hand-bound versions. For now, digital will suffice.

*** Note that numerous poems were written in the early 90s under the pen-name of Airial Diana Mark, which I still publish my poetry under today. I plan to add older works periodically. ***
