Someone suggested that the future at my job was... well, let's just say it isn't good. So hard trying to fit into a new environment with people who are just so different. So frustrating to know you are good at what you do, but you just can't seem to show other people. *sigh* I watched "The Shawshank Redemption" a few weeks ago, and the idea of being "institutionalized" struck me. Perhaps being in a job 25 years did that to me -- I just can't seem to fit in somewhere else. Guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Anyhow, this is by far my favorite photo-manipulation. It summed up my life so perfectly when I created it in 2014, and it certainly fits now. As fire rains down around me, I can do nothing but keep-going and accept my fate.

The “fun” of being in the throes of depression is the lovely imagery that haunts you...
